Chicago Botanic Garden - Gardening Live!
The Gardening Live! stage and exhibit area becomes a beehive of activity every year with 20-minute demonstrations by Garden horticulturists and educators between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. It features live on-air talk and news shows with WGN radio personalities. Master gardeners and Garden staff answer visitors' garden questions and there's a book store too.
Aquascape - Backyard Escape
This garden echoes Mother Nature's intricate designs in mind, showcasing the myriad ways in which water features enliven green spaces. Aquascape's ecosystem water features offer outdoor living at its best, requiring little maintenance. The display includes an element for environmentally conscious gardeners: a rainwater harvesting system to recycle water off the roof and other impermeable surfaces.

Sleeping Beauty Garden
The ever-popular fairy tale, The Sleeping Beauty, is evoked in this woodland scene designed by Greg Pierceall, professor of horticultue/landscape design at the University of Illinois. The garden takes inspiration from the American Ballet Theatre production of The Sleeping Beauty
on stage April 9-13 at the Civic Opera House.
The garden design is being constructed by Krugel Cobbles. Krugel Cobbles is a full service hardscape and masonry design, installation and maintenance company that specializes in creating beautiful outdoor spaces, including patios, pool decks, seat walls, porches, masonry grills, driveways, walkways and outdoor fireplaces and fire pits.
