BELGARD Chicagoland Flower & Garden Show
grows bigger Popular show cultivates new ground March 8-16 at Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont with an added Home Lifestyle Expo and an opening weekend art show. The new Home Lifestyle Expo, included in the price of admission, will be held in an adjacent hall and feature the products of furniture, lighting, window/door, DIY (do-it-yourself), a mini spa show and other home improvement exhibitors. With the addition of Home Expo, the show grows to more than 300,000 square-feet of exhibits. Meet Mr. Fix-It! WGN-AM Radio's 720's Lou Manfredini HEAR HIM! Saturday, March 15 9:30-11:30 a.m. Chicago Botanic Garden's "Gardening Live Stage" Lou Manfredini only has two things going for him: experience and credibility. His beginnings as a carpenter quickly became a 20 plus year career as a professional home builder and remodeler. His knowledge of homes, inside and out, lets him take the intimidation out of any project. Since 1995 homeowners have been calling into Lou's three-hour Mr. Fix It program on News/Talk 720 WGN Radio, broadcasting every Saturday morning starting at 6AM. He's been the Home Contributor to NBC's Today Show since 2000, as well as a home improvement editor for USA Weekend Magazine. Lou also contributes weekly to the NBC5 morning show, and is the Host and Co-Executive Producer of "House Smarts" his nationally syndicated TV show also shown locally on NBC. |
